HISTORY
Guglielmi, historic Italian Company in the taps sector, was founded in 1954 in Valduggia.
Lead today by the second generation of the family – Orazio and Orfeo – Guglielmi stands for the evolution of the Italian Company built on the figure of the entrepreneur-craftsman, represented up to the Nineties by their father Armando.
Guglielmi has been able to reconcile the deep artisan know-how with the industrial production processes with courage and determination, expanding the idea of turning a faucet into a work of design that combines aesthetic and functionality.
Commitment, passion and dedication are the values of the Company, that has always been committed to the development and realization of products for bathroom, shower, kitchen and for outdoor spaces.
The created models lead us into the Guglielmi universe, made up of iconic shapes, sophisticated surfaces and unusual color combinations for the pursuit of wellness.

Fifties
Armando Guglielmi, born in 1922, begins his business activity in Valduggia, Vercelli province, taps district.
The craft workshop takes the name of Rubinetteria Valsesiana. Armando personally draws his activity logo inspired by the symbol of Valsesia, the place where the latter is located; the eagle stands up among the mountains, by sustaining a bath tap with handshower.
Guglielmi takes home the comfort. First water-heating household appliance Orfeo for washbasin complete with little boiler (Patented). Water contained in the latter was heated through a resistance, whose activation took place through a switch.
Sixties
Comfort moves its first steps in the kitchen. Guglielmi realizes the first wall-mounted tap with mechanical valves.
1st thermostatic Mixer VETOR for built-in shower. Endowed with technical features that make it excelling among the thermostatic mixers. Constant and invariable temperature adjustment of the water supplied from 20° to 55°C, eliminating all needs of further adjustments. It allows a significant hot water saving, by removing waste linked to a manual dosing or to a mechanical adjustment.
Seventies
The company “Rubinetteria Valsesiana” is less and less workshop and more and more industry and takes the name of “Guglielmi”, synonymous with quality. 1st single lever Mixer with patented system, by rotating the control the water opening and closing was activated by pushing hot, cold or mixed water was obtained.
1st ceramic discs single lever mixer MIXOR. Among the first Italian tap companies using this new technology with 47 mm diameter cartridge.
Eighties
Water heat gives birth to the new Guglielmi logo. Experience and tradition combined with the most advanced technologies have allowed the realization of the new Thermostatic mixers THERMO G and THERMO E. The thermostatic element is contained in the cartridge with new technical conception and easy-maintenance. Thanks to the precise temperature adjustment, a significant economy of water and energy is obtained.
Since ‘80s Guglielmi, always looking for project solutions and innovative technologies, introduces MIX G2 in the market. The single lever mixer evolves and colors itself with 40 mm cartridges, becoming the most desired tap. The enterprise reaches the million products selling.
Nineties
Guglielmi introduces six new automatic assembly lines, one for each production category, with air test in millibar (0,001) addition, allowing this way a considerable assembly times reduction and granting major quality and reliability.
Guglielmi presents the new IMPACT series by the XVI Mostra Convegno in Milan. Simple and straight design that can suit each style for bathroom, shower and kitchen ambiances. The cartridge 35 mm is introduced and Guglielmi adds Pony Z and Rima series pastel-colored.
New creative ideas lead the enterprise to the realization of the bathroom collection Aguateca. Glamorous Mixer, soft and refined lines that will permit harmonious combinations with other furniture elements. One of the most innovative single levers in Guglielmi production. A contemporary and original design, a technical research pushed to its maximum.
The enterprise presents Giulietta and Romeo collections for bathroom and kitchen ambiances. The handle in Giulietta series is inspired by the iconic fedora hat.
Cersaie, Bologna. First water saving mixers born. Eco-sustainable products endowed with the best technologies, capable of considerably reducing water consumption and increasing domestic energy economy thanks to the innovative CLICK® and CLICK-CLACK® cartridges.
Twenties
The enterprise renovates its logo and marries the Hi-Water philosophy. This one is the productive technology that looks for the perfect blend between design, technology and creativity.
PARAGON series is the concrete Hi-Water realization: a complete tap series conceived for the meeting in perfect harmony of functionality, beauty and personality. The 1st single lever Mixer with 33 mm diameter joystick cartridge.
SISTEMA series. Elements that are harmoniously linked into an organic and smart whole, new variation of the Hi-Water concept. Its cylindrical shapes and its curved lines create a soft and essential design, aimed to a pleasant and reliable use and to a pure and simple functionality. Designed by the architect Ugo Betori.
IDEA. A modern tap line for high quality bathroom and kitchen. This series is the first of its kind being exclusively conceived with angled design concept and since then, it furnishes both modern and classic indoors, by respectively providing with the final touch in a minimalist ambiance or the contrast in a classic and decorated architecture. Accessories collections Ronda, Dama and Mia belong to OVER Collection, a project which is born from the creativity of the architect Ugo Betori. Accessories that furnish the bathroom with elegance and secrecy. Every line is the expression of the elegant and functional Italian design that reaches out to the practical and aesthetic needs of the individual. A wide and different proposal that combines with the research developed by Guglielmi with taps: aesthetic and functional pleasure.
GQ series. Hi-Tech simple and absolute functionality, combined with shape perfection research, creates Hi-Water natural soul. Geometric power enhanced by a light creativity, contemporary solutions for a rational water use. Perfection as the starting point to new borders.
It borns AG, the bathroom and kitchen collection created in the memory of Armando Guglielmi, enterprise founder in 1954. Unique and innovative in its kind in elliptical shape. For the first time the mixer has a 3-blades outlet that makes water exit pleasant to the touch. Designed by the architect and designer Alfredo Zengiaro.
SPRINT. Bathroom, shower and kitchen collection. 25 mm cartridge. Minimal and elegant design that allows to meet levels and volumes for all ambiances. Each needless element is rejected for leaving space to the essential.
WHICH TEMPERATURE ARE YOU?
The birth of the first mixer with self-powered colored temperature through water passage.
Always attentive to environmental sustainability, Guglielmi uses the 316L stainless steel also for the new bathroom and kitchen collection. Durable, recyclable, hygienic and with low environment impact material at every stage of its life cycle. It borns NOVO INOX.
The birth of two series with opposed geometries. Guglielmi presents G&G and SPRINT ONE in Matt Black finish. The first synonymous with geometric rigour between tap body and lever, the second characterized by rounded and modern shapes.
GTRONIC. Electronic tap dedicated to the furniture of the public sector. The supply through photoelectric sensors avoids water waste by respecting the surrounding environment. Key-word is environmental sustainability: a precious commodity economy is synonymous with progress. Highlighted by the new house symbol with less water consumption and minor pollution.
Twenties-ten
WATER THERAPY. Shower ritual becomes a real distinctive element: lighting up the senses through Chromo-therapy benefits. Showerheads and shower panels offer a domestic spa wellness by means of rain drops, 480 individually lit microleds that envelop the body in a world of feelings, by alternating 12 different colors.
The enterprise designs and realizes JOLLY BOX®, the first universal built-in part for all Guglielmi bath-shower solutions with anti-noise and anti-humidity system, inspectable filters. Hot and cold water closure in entrance. The external part, composed by plate and mixer, can be chosen in a second time – after bathroom tiling.
WALSER. QR. COUPE’, I MIX. In just one year, the enterprise designs and realizes 4 new different designs that access Guglielmi Bathroom Collection. Styles mix from the simple and straight to the rounded and squared. Unique design and details that create modern and functional lines. New 35 A cartridges.
With the ‘20s the enterprise, attentive to sustainability, designs and develops the first kitchen mixers supplying microfiltered Still, Sparkling or Boiling water with their own filtration system and water for standard use through the opening of different controls. It borns PURA® – Spring water.
SAVE XS.
Shower environment becomes minimal and straight in shapes, a revolution for your wellness. Integrated thermostatic mixer, body jet, showerhead with standard and waterfall jet and shelves for objects . The whole shower panel has 20 mm maximum encumbrance.
The enterprise evolves with the graphic designer arrival, who re-designs Guglielmi logo and creates a new trade dress for the institutional and commercial communication. Guglielmi gets back to the green color (Pantone 369) chosen by the founder.
Cersaie, Bologna. Guglielmi renovates its SPRINT collection with a color rainbow – painted, brushed, galvanic and PVD. Minimal and elegant lines meet pure levels and volumes for bathroom ambiance. Each needless element is rejected for only leaving space to the essential, without ever giving up on maximum functionality.
The new Bathroom catalogue edition is presented, dedicated to the theme of traveling: the one of water, which incessantly explores the planet, gives it shape, transforms it and makes it alive. The birth of the new MODO and G3 bathroom, shower and kitchen collections, dedicated to contracts.
First GZERO® concept, eco-friendly by definition, where the bathroom models internally have separated, independent and isolated channels: water never gets in touch with the metal of the tap internal parts. The mixer supplies 5 l/min.
The enterprise shows once more its attention to environmental sustainability and to customer interest, as this one becomes free to customize the product in line with bathroom and kitchen ambiance.
The birth of the first 3/4 thermostatic built-in parts project, in order to manage the water quantity supplied by the new showeheads of big dimensions and improve supply flow without wastes. Built-in parts from 1 to 5 outlet in different shapes and finishes.

PURA® collection evolves and it borns the innovative, patended and one of its kind mixer TUTTUNO®, which supplies microfilrered Still, Sparkling and Boiling water by a simple control rotation, by keeping anyway its main function: supplying domestic water. The different kinds of water supplied create different sounds. It is so that SOUND of PURA® borns.
GZERO® becomes absolute protagonist in the world of bathroom and kitchen ambiance. GZero collection is the first 360° project that combines Made in Italy ceramics and accessories, which has involved the company enabling this one to express itself and share its own vision, careful in understanding how the bathroom ambiance is more and more a place to live. The collection is able to offer a pleasant environment where to take time for self-care. A new concept conceived in 2014 that conveys elegance, class, aesthetic and precious finishes that cover the tap among which the Carrara White Marble.
PURA® collection grows again by giving birth to the elegant TUTTUNO® Touch distributor. By a simple touch, it is possible to taste microfiltered water at room temperature Still, cold Still and Sparkling, Boiling at 100°. Thanks to the 4 internal channels, independent and isolated, the microfiltered water does not get in touch with the inner parts of the tap, by keeping filtration at maximum standards and allowing the different kinds of water not to get in touch with each other.
The company presents by ISH Frankfurt 2019 GX series, energy saving in 3 different heights. The new mixer where the product aesthetics must be found in shape straight elegance. This series is presented in three different versions: two with single lever mixer and one with progressive control that will allow to initially open cold water with energy and consumption economy, then to choose the ideal temperature.
The straight shape elegance of the defined “Square C” and the detail where the body fits into the mixer spout by creating a rounded 90° angle, highlight the capability of the enterprise of realizing products which are unique in their kind and attentive to details.
SPRINT COLOR. For declining to style and performance needs that nowadays an ambiance must satisfy, Sprint collection disguises itself and changes dress by wearing a control where the coating will be the composition key-element.
SMARTAP®. Summary of functionality and patent technology. Innovative and technologic opening and closing system for sink waste, integrated in the tap body. Guglielmi widen the project and realizes 304 stainless steel sinks to combine with the new system.
OUTDOOR INOX. The new 316L stainless steel showers collection is conceived in order to offer a total wellness. The accessories variety and the details elegance make this shower columns collection versatile and adaptable to every ambiance – interiors as loft and open spaces and outdoors in a garden, on a terrace or poolside – where it is possible to find and fully living the feelings of a real spa.
The enterprise presents new distributors for water room temperature Still, cold Still and Sparkling, Boiling at 100°. The series TUTTUNO® Touch widens with the addition of the “slightly sparkling” taste. Get 5 different kinds of water in a single tap.
The company is exhibiting at Fuorisalone 2021 with Interni Creative Connections.
The PURA installation is the result of a project in collaboration with Alessandro Zambelli, a manifesto celebrating water in all its forms. A vertical element that connects the ground to the sky, declaring the divine value of water as a symbol of the entire life cycle. A tool to educate the consumer to take more care of the environment with the collection dedicated to the microfiltration water. The PURA Collection.
