The Pura installation, located in the Cortile d’onore dell’Università Statale di Milano, is the brainchild of Alessandro Zambelli. The structure celebrates water through our products. Domestic design components capable of enhancing its characteristics of purity and clarity.
The work develops vertically and takes the form of a large Menhir. The meaning is the presence of a new settlement, the starting point of a new visionary civilisation.
A vertical element that connects the ground to the sky, declaring the divine value of water, as a symbol of the entire life cycle.
Steam – condensation – accumulation – filtration – enrichment and rebirth through a source. A game of metaphors created by means of a large origami on the four faces of the structure which, in a degrading way, schematically recount the process of changing the form of water.
Noble and simple materials were deliberately chosen for this project, wood symbolising the surface earth on which everything is founded, and mineral metal generated by crystallisation and structural material, ductile and malleable. Their common denominator is water.
Inside the structure is placed the protagonist of the installation, the innovative TUTTUNO multifunctional mixer from the PURA collection, which allows the user to supply microfiltered water: still, cold still, cold sparkling and boiling, by simply turning or pressing the control.
The inside of the structure is lit by Ledvance wi-fi rgb led strips, mapped onto the cold colours of water, making the structure dynamic and able to interact with the public present.
To complete the experience, there is a space dedicated to its guests: a sharing area where tasting experiences allow them to appreciate the organoleptic properties of water, microfiltered through Pura technology and supplied from its mixer taps.
THE NEW GUGLIELMI COLLECTIONS
For the whole period of Fuorisalone from 4th to 10th September, Guglielmi exposes its new collections in a location of choice, in the heart of the Milanese design, in the new «Bottega» Fochi&Tagliavini in Via Durini 26.
In the exhibition area dedicated to Guglielmi, it will be possible to touch the latest collections of taps and fittings conceived to complete with a minimal and functional design the bathroom and the kitchen ambiance.
ISH 2021 – THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT
Guglielmi took part in the first virtual trade fair ISH Digital from 22 to 26 March 2021.
For our company, which has always been innovation-oriented and, in the field of tapware, committed to the development of new technologies, participating in the first digital edition of ISH was a natural choice.
Today, in the digital era, Guglielmi opens the way to a new way of experiencing the tap with which to interact in a direct, simple and intuitive way thanks to the new technologies that the market offers us.
BATHROOM AMBIANCE
In the bathroom ambiance we have introduced GZERO which encompasses 3 concepts: sustainability, exclusive materials and customization. Sustainability where the water is not in direct contact with the metal thanks to independent internal channels, evolving the concept of the mixer making it ecofriendly with 5l/min. Exclusive materials and customization are related concepts, infact GZERO allows the 4 body finishes to be combined with up to 12 different covers ranging from White Carrara Marble, Corian, black and white crystal and real stone to allow the consumer to match their bathroom covering in line with the product.
Another novelty proposed in the Guglielmi bathroom ambiance is GX, the key element of the series is its shape defined as «Square Circle». Square yes, but with rounded corners. The minimalism that characterizes the series is not only present in the shape, but also in the substance: this product is the result of a fusion achieved with the least possible thickness, so that its lines are naturally accurate, elegant and essential.
KITCHEN AMBIANCE
In the kitchen ambiance we wanted to focus on technology in the strictest sense of the word. We started from the needs of consumers and the fact that their needs are growing more and more as demonstrated by innovation in the field of household appliances. SMARTAP, a technological and innovative solution for controlling the opening and closing of sink drains, was born from this need.
One of our biggest projects in recent years has been the PURA® collection, a kitchen mixer with a microfiltration system that allows still, cold sparkling and boiling water to be supplied in addition to normal domestic water all in the same mixer.
The restrictions of the last year have encouraged us to work further on this collection by creating something unique. A tap that delivers micro-filtered water by means of a sensor, respecting hygiene and non-contact PURE SENSORE.
